All in person Provincial Offences Act court matters, including trials scheduled from Monday, March 16, 2020 through Monday, January 25, 2021 are adjourned until further notice and will be rescheduled. Do not attend court.

York Region’s Provincial Offences Act Courts in-person front counter services are available beginning Monday, September 14, 2020.

The Newmarket Provincial Offences Court, previously located at the Tannery, 465 Davis Drive has relocated to the 2nd floor of 17150 Yonge Street.

Hours of Operations - Monday to Friday:

Court Operation front counter services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Prosecution front counter services from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Please note entrance to the building will only be permitted until 4 p.m.

If you have a trial scheduled, a notice of your new court date will be sent to you by mail to the address on file with the court. If you were summoned to appear in court for a provincial offence, you do not need to attend, as the matter will be rescheduled.
